Our History

Hire Virtual Assistants was founded in 2007 by Vanilla Networks Pty Ltd, an Australian outsourcing firm. After considering several locations in the Philippines, our founders were particularly impressed with the quality of talent and facilities available in Cebu City in the central Philippines, so chose to set up operations there.

Initially based in Cebu Business Park, the company expanded quickly, leading to it relocating in 2010 to larger purpose-built premises at Cebu’s leading information technology park.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, the team has been working from home as a matter of safety, but we have implemented many measures to ensure our service is as reliable in a work-from-home context as it was when we operated from state-of-the-art facilities.

Our Australian founders now combine daily with our energetic and capable local management and our wonderfully talented team in Cebu to deliver outstanding value to our clients — day in, day out
